Early voting in the upcoming city, state and federal election starts Wednesday.
In Cumberland County, those wishing to cast a ballot during the early voting period may do so at the Election Commission Office at 83 Northside Lane, Suite 101, Crossville.
Early voting hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-noon Saturdays through Oct. 31.
Crossville voters will select two City Council representatives from a field of six candidates: Incumbent Rob Harrison and challengers Kris Cole, Mark Fox, J.H. Graham III, James Mayberry and Danny Wyatt.
In Crab Orchard, voters will choose to retain Mayor Emmett Sherrill or cast a ballot for contenders Michael Findley or Racheal Hansen, and they’ll decide between Winona Christopher and Todd Hemmer as alderman.
Running unopposed are Pleasant Hill Town Council member Douglas Borko and Jonathan Matthews as Republican Party nominee for Cumberland County Board of Education District 7, filling the unexpired term of Rebecca Hamby, who resigned in late summer.
Also on the ballot are:
State House of Representatives — Republican incumbent Cameron Sexton and Democratic challenger Wesley Adkins.
U.S. House of Representatives — Republican incumbent John Rose and Democratic challenger Lore Bergman.
U.S. Senate — Republican incumbent Marsha Blackburn is being challenged by Democrat Gloria Johnson and independent candidates Tharon Chandler, Pamela Jeanine “P.” Moses and Hastina Robinson.
President — In addition to Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris, the ballot includes independent candidates Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Jill Stein, Jay J. Bowman and Claude de la Cruz
Voters in Tennessee may request an absentee ballot until Oct. 29.
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Voters opting to cast their ballots on Election Day should report to the precinct locations assigned by the Cumberland County Election Commission.
