MANKATO — A 76-year-old Fairmont woman was injured when two SUVs and a van crashed in a hilltop Mankato intersection Thursday morning.
Cathy Lee Brandt was driving a northbound 2018 Ford Escape on Highway 22 at 10:32 a.m. and was attempting to enter westbound Bassett Drive when the vehicle and the 2023 GMC Yukon that Nicholas Charles Willaert, 44, of Mankato, was driving south on Highway 22 crashed in the intersection, the State Patrol said.
The SUVs then pushed into a stopped 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by Jeffrey Lee Fellows, 72, of Eagle Lake.
Brandt was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Fellows and Willaert were not injured.
