The Niagara County Department of Motor Vehicles’ Lockport office is unable to process driver’s license applications and renewals, due to a computer malfunction in the state system, County Clerk Joe Jastrzemski announced Friday.
The camera that ties into the state system is not working and is not expected to be back up until Tuesday.
The Lockport office remains open to conduct other business, Jastrzemski said.
Anybody who needs to process a driver’s license immediately can go to the DMV offices in North Tonawanda or Niagara Falls.
