The Dalton City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in City Hall. The meeting is open to the public and will be livestreamed on the city’s YouTube site.
The council members are scheduled to vote on:
— Approval of $4,690.70 in local matching funds to remove obstacles in the approach to the runway at Dalton Municipal Airport. The rest of the $93,815.73 project will be paid for with state and federal funds.
— Approval of a $54,830 contract with LRS Land Services of Talking Rock to remove trees from the approach end of the runway at the airport.
— Approval of a $38,985.73 contract with Kimley-Horn and Associates of Chattanooga for administration and inspection services for the removal of obstacles in the approach to the runway at the airport.
— Approval of a $5,562.25 contract with Spectra Contract Flooring of Norcross for floor cleaning at the Public Works Department building.
