The Merrimack Valley Conference/Dual County League announced its all-conference and all-star selections in both boys and girls hockey.
In each division, a Player of the Year, a Coach of the Year and a Bruins Sportsmanship were named. Locally Haverhill’s Jake Costa and Andover’s Bella DiFiore were selected as the sportsmanship award winners and in MVC/DCL Division 1, Dave O’Hearn was named the Coach of the Year for the Red Rangers.
On top of that, a total of were named all-conference including on the boys side, Nate Carlson (Andover), Costa, and Aiden Cashman (Methuen) and on the girls side, Juliana Taylor (HPNA), Grace Johnson (Andover), Lydia Barnes (Methuen/Tewksbury), Lucy Irwin and Sophia Powers (Central Catholic).
