Conservative Americans for Tennessee will host a county general and state primary candidate forum beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Fairfield Glade Library at 455 Lakeview Drive.
Conservative District, State and U.S. Congressional Candidates have been invited to present their positions on the issues and reasons for running for office.
After their presentations, those attending will be able to greet and speak with them individually.
Candidates on the Aug. 6 general ballot include County Mayor, Sheriff, Register of Deeds, County Clerk, Trustee, Circuit Court Clerk and Road Superintendent. Only the Road Superintendent race is contested.
Also on the ballot are all county commission seats, as well as school board members representing odd-numbered districts. Nicky Philpot and James Stephens are seeking to fill the two-year term left vacant to the death of 4th District school board representative Anita Hale.
The ballot will also include primary candidates for state and U.S. Congressional seats.

Early voting begins July 17 and ends Aug. 1.
On the ballot for the primary races are Governor, State Representative, State Senate, U.S. Representative and U.S. Senate.
