North Georgia National Bank announces the promotion of Amy Collier to executive vice president.
Collier just celebrated her first-year service anniversary in May. Prior to joining the team at North Georgia as senior vice president and chief financial officer, she served in various capacities during her 24 years of service in the banking industry, nine of which were spent auditing financial institutions with Mauldin & Jenkins LLC.
“Amy has been an invaluable asset to our leadership team,” said President and CEO Lesa Downey. “In addition to her role as chief financial officer, Amy is also responsible for the bank’s deposit operations and information technology departments. Amy’s depth of experience has enabled her to guide improvement in the bank’s processes, procedures and overall performance. We are so fortunate to have her on our team and look forward to continued success under her leadership.”
Collier holds a bachelor of business administration and master’s of accounting from Georgia Southern University. She and her husband Brooks recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. The couple reside in Acworth and share two daughters, Emma and Isabelle. When away from the office, Collier enjoys spending time with her family and loves watching her daughters learn and grow.
