The Children of Crossville Chamber Orchestra and the beginning string students at Homestead Elementary represented Cumberland County in the Solo and Ensemble competition held at Cookeville High School April 4.
The students brought home 58 superior medals. The group also earned the highest percentage of any group participating.
The other schools who participated were: Algood Middle School, Avery Trace Middle School, Cookeville High School, Jackson County High School, Jackson County Middle School, Livingston Academy, Livingston Middle School, Prescott South Middle School, Smith County Middle School, Upperman High School, Upperman Middle School, White County High School and White County Middle School.
