• There will be a revival at the Church of God of the Union Assembly April 17-21. The church is at 1009 McGaughey Chapel Road in Cohutta. Church officials say there will be great singing and preaching nightly. Everyone is welcome.
• Five Springs Methodist Church at 2823 Five Springs Road in Dalton has a community food pantry on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.
• Five Springs Methodist Church has Fellowship Singing and a Covered Dish Supper the third Sunday of the month at 5:30 p.m.
• Riverbend Church of Christ in Dalton opens a benevolent house each Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for area residents in need. People can choose from a variety of clothing, shoes, household items and more at no charge. The ministry is in the white house beside the church building at 2218 S. Riverbend Road.
• St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 901 W. Emery St. in Dalton, offers several Christian educational opportunities and events:
— Sunday, April 14, Holy Eucharist Services, rite one at 8 a.m., rite two with Children’s Church at 10:30; adult Christian education, 9 and 9:45 a.m. in the Parish Hall, coffee and refreshments served; picnic and hike to Fort Mountain, leaving the church at noon.
