Mediacom Communications recognized as a US Best Managed Company
MEDIACOM PARK, NY — Mediacom Communications announced it has been selected as a 2024 US Best Managed company. Now in its fifth year, the award, sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, recognizes the achievements of private American companies and the successes of their management teams.
“Receiving recognition as a US Best Managed Company for the fourth straight year is an incredible accomplishment,” said Rocco B. US Best Managed Companies is part of a global Deloitte Private program, according to a press release from Mediacom. Honorees are selected by an external panel of judges who evaluate applicants based on strategy, ability to execute, culture, and governance and financial performance. They and join an ecosystem of organizations from more than 44 countries.
In conjunction with this year’s award, Mediacom received a special designation as a 2024 US Best Managed Company Gold Standard Winner, which honors organizations that have been recognized for four or more years as US Best Managed Companies, the press release said.
Citizens Community Bank announces key promotions in leadership team
Citizens Community Bank has announced the promotion of three individuals within the organization. Mindy Green has been appointed as chief operations officer, Jim Doyle as chief financial officer, and Shelby Miller as vice president.
Green brings over two decades of comprehensive banking experience to her new role as chief operations officer, according to the announcement. Beginning her banking career as a bookkeeper and part-time teller, Green has honed her expertise in various facets of banking operations, including software development, compliance, and information security. She started her own consulting company with a focus on Information Security Programs, BSA Programs, and risk assessments and helped CCB write an internal Information Security Program and policies before officially joining the CCB team. In her previous role as senior vice president of technology and bookkeeping, Green enhanced CCB’s technological infrastructure and security protocols, the company said. She currently serves on the Jack Henry Gulf State User Group Board and on the Georgia Bankers Association Operations and Technology Committee as vice-chair.
Doyle’s distinguished 35-year career in banking is marked by a commitment to excellence and leadership, the company’s announcement said. Beginning as a bank examiner trainee with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Doyle worked his way up to achieve commissioned status and examined banks in Georgia and along the east coast of the United States for 10 years. Before joining Citizens Community Bank as senior vice president in 2019, Doyle served in leadership roles at two banks. He was vice president of operations and then CFO for a $400 million community bank and also served as the CFO of a community bank in North Carolina. As chief financial officer, Doyle is poised to drive CCB’s financial strategies to new heights of success.
Miller’s promotion to vice president is a testament to her exceptional dedication and expertise, the company said. Over her nine-year tenure at Citizens Community Bank, Miller has served in various capacities, amassing a wealth of knowledge in nearly every department. In May 2022, Miller assumed the position of compliance officer and internal auditor, becoming assistant vice president and branch manager in April 2023. A graduate of both Louisiana State University and Valdosta State University, she holds certifications as a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer, Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor, and Certified ACT Specialist. Miller has served as the treasurer of a local non-profit, and continues to be engaged in various community activities in the area.
