THEFT
Officers are looking into a shoplifting incident at a store in the 2200 block of Hyde Park Boulevard at 8:55 p.m. July 30. A clerk told police that a male suspect entered the store and began placing merchandise on the checkout counter. The victim said the suspect then grabbed a box of Reeseās cups and a box of Butterfinger candy bars and ran from the store. The candy is valued at $130. The incident was captured on video by store security cameras.

A Falls woman was arrested after a reported theft from her employer in the 700 block of Builders Way at 10:02 a.m. Friday. She was charged with petit larceny and is accused of taking $350, between July 8 to July 19, from cash registers where she worked.

A North Tonawanda woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 7200 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 10:59 a.m. Friday. She was charged with petit larceny and is accused of taking more than $33 worth of merchandise without paying for the items.

A Falls woman was arrested after a shoplifting incident at a store in the 7400 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at 8:47 p.m. Saturday. She was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. She is accused of taking more than $1,640 worth of merchandise without paying for the items and resisting an officer who attempted to take her into custody.
