FISHERTOWN, Pa. — Bishop Walsh won 3-1 over Chestnut Ridge on Monday.
Carson Hamelin opened the scoring at the 13 minute mark for the Spartans (9-11-2) off an Anthony Shorto assist.
Five minutes later, Jackson Miller scored off Mani Vahedi’s assist.
Chestnut Ridge answered at the 22 minute mark on a Noah Gardner score.
One minute later, Miller set up Enoch Zheng for another Spartan goal to conclude the scoring.
Bishop Walsh led 14-4 in shots and 7-2 in corner kicks.
James Maybury recorded three saves for the Spartans while B. Ponder added seven for Chestnut Ridge.
Bishop Walsh hosts Cumberland Valley on Friday at 4 p.m.
