Timberlane 11, Windham 10
The Owls scored their runs on only four hits, picking up the wild win. Liam Kelley homered and drove in three for Timberlane, which benefitted from 15 walks. Frankie Carrasquillo came in and shut the door on the mound, working the final 3.2 innings on the mound and allowing no runs on a hit and a walk with seven strikeouts.
Andy Connam and Alex Blanco had multiple hits for the Jaguars, and Josh Martino drove in three runs in the loss.
Trinity 5, Salem 2
The Blue Devils managed just two hits in the loss, a single by Cooper Deschene and a double from Owen Doherty. Aaron Masson pitched five strong innings, allowing four hits without a walk, leaving with a 2-1 lead before the Pioneers rallied in the seventh.
Haverhill 2, Tewksbury 1
Mike Gentile pitched six superb innings to pick up the win for the Hillies. Jeremy Aquino worked the seventh for the save. Brandon Piraino tied the game with a home run in the sixth. Max St. Hilaire dropped down the perfect suicide squeeze bunt, plating Linas Abreu with the game-winner.
Andover 7, Lowell 2
Drew Pulsifer was large and in charge, working 6.2 sharp innings for the Warrior win. Ryan Jaillet had three hits and drove in a pair. Will Norris had two hits and three RBIs.
Groton 2, Brooks 1
Charlie Rousmaniere pitched five strong innings, allowing only one earned run, but suffered the tough-luck loss. James Sullivan and Henry Hebert had the Brooks hits.
Softball
Windham 3, Timberlane 1
Ava Runde blasted a homer and drove in two, making the difference the battle of four-hitters. Claire Ballard worked the final five scoreless innings to earn the win. She allowed two hits and a walk, striking out four. Marin Hollingshead made a great throw to gun down a runner at the plate.
Ellie Shanley and Brooke Salafia pitched well for the Owls in defeat. Maddie McFadden had a hit and drove in the Timberlane run.
Greater Lawrence 2, Greater Lowell 0
In a battle for first place in the CAC large, Reggies’ ace Samantha Nasella reigned supreme.
The junior was brillant on the mound, throwing a six-hitter and striking out nine. Mya German and Ivelisse Lopez got a hit apiece to lead the Reggies. Third baseman Arielle Merlina and freshman shortstop Brooke Nasella anchored the defense for the 9-7 Reggies.

Pelham 15, Gilford 12
The Pythons move to 6-3 behind a five-goal performance by Jake Suliveras. Mason Frechette and Aidan Cote had three goals apiece.
Windham 11, Nashua North 3
Evan Ardizzone and Evan Dell Orfano scored three goals apiece for the Jaguars. Sam Kramer passed out five assists.
Woburn 12, Haverhill 10
Connor Damske had four goals for the Hillies, and Trevor Lindmark picked up a pair. Patrick McGowan added a goal and two assists. Max Boyer made 11 saves in net.
Girls Lacrosse
Tri-County 10, Nashoba/GLT 6
Amber King had 11 saves in net. Delaney Auger scored a hat-trick in the loss. Samantha Richards scored twice.
North Andover 15, Billerica 7
Isa Robinson scored seven goals, topping the 300-point mark in her Knights’ career. Meghan and Niki Daley combined for five goals. Julianna Taylor also had a pair of goals.
Volleyball
Lawrence 3, Central Catholic 1
Christian Gomez paced the Lancers with 43 assists and a dozen service points. Vincent Dang smacked 21 kills, and Julio Santana had 14 digs. For 1-13 Central, Owen Fulks had 12 kills and served 16 points. Elijah Hong had 24 digs on the defensive end.
Lawrence 3, Haverhill 1
For the Hillies, Brady Paris led with 10 kills, and Peter Grillo passed out 23 assists. Kole Sindoni had seven blocks, and Patrick Osgood had nine digs on the defensive side.
Pinkerton 3, Mascenic 1
Middle hitters Parker Townsend and Sean Phelps combined for 17 kills to lead the 9-2 Astros. Ben Koelb passed out 18 assists.
Girls Tennis
Methuen wins a pair
The Rangers took out Lawrence and Tewksbury in successive days. Liv Lawrence, Bree Lawrence and Jill McSweeney scored singles wins. The teams of Ella Duffy-Melody Metivier and Sienna Firriello-Emma Ripley all won in straight sets on both days.

The Warrior train rolls on behind singles wins from Mia Thomas, Ishwa Dharan and Hila Berman, plus doubles victories from Celeste Miner-Valerie Chu and Farah Berty-Caitlyn Croll.

The Hillies got a first doubles win from Chelsea Taabi and Abby Mistretta. Haverhill is 1-13.
