WALTHAM — Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, the largest girl-serving organization in Massachusetts, recently honored area Girl Scouts who sold more than 500 packages of cookies during its 2023-24 cookie program.
The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for Girl Scouts. As a result, Girl Scouts obtain limitless barrier-breaking futures outside the box with transferable life skills. Girl Scouts can earn a variety of badges and awards to develop valuable business skills including cookie business badges, financial literacy badges, cookie entrepreneur family pins and entrepreneur badges.
During the 2023-2024 Cookie Program, 1,943,922 packages were sold by Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts and 564 Girl Scouts were a part of the ‘500 Club.’ The following local Girl Scouts sold over 500 packages of cookies:
Hannah Dufner of Amesbury is a member of Troop 64459 and sold 500 boxes this year.
Madison Solazzo of Amesbury is a member of Troop 64459 and sold 500 boxes this year.
Charlotte Hinchliffe of Georgetown is a member of Troop 6449 and sold 500 boxes this year.
Madelyn Kelley of Merrimac is a member of Troop 70379 and sold 520 boxes this year.
Avery Judkins of Merrimac is a member of Troop 70379 and sold 520 boxes this year.
Lilliann Potts of Newburyport is a member of Troop 67143 and sold 504 boxes this year.
Abigail Martens of Newburyport is a member of Troop 67143 and sold 509 boxes this year.
Gia Campbell of Newburyport is a member of Troop 70351 and sold 1,231 boxes this year.
Lennon Komorous of Newburyport is a member of Troop 84100 and sold 914 boxes this year.
Maeve Sharpe of Newburyport is a member of Troop 84100 and sold 500 boxes this year.
Jenny Jenkins of Rowley is a member of Troop 64452 and sold 756 boxes this year.
