PORT HENRY — Cooper Allen scored 32 points, added 10 rebounds and four steals on Friday to power Moriah to a 60-39 victory over Saranac in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference basketball.
Isaac White added eight points, Joe Pelkey six assists and Jake Mascarenas five assists for the Vikings.
Henry Napper paced the Spartans with 13 points and Carson Duffield followed with eight.
“Saranac did a great job attacking the offensive glass and ended the game with 16 offensive boards,” Moriah coach Don Tesar Jr. said. “They made a good run in the third quarter to get back in the game.
“We started to make a couple more shots later in the third quarter and start of the fourth to open it back up. Both teams played hard and it was hard for either team to get into a rhythm tonight.”
