As far as the top guns on the tennis court go at Andover High, Nik Narina lived up to the legacy perfectly.
The Warrior senior, our 2025 Eagle-Tribune Player of the Year, dominated the league again, winning the Merrimack Valley Conference Player of the Year for the second straight year, helping the champs advance to the Division 1 state round of 16.
A four-year varsity performer, Narina played three years at the No. 1 spot and captained the Warriors this spring. He didn’t give up a set in the conference this year.
“Nik has an overpowering serve and a strong net game which compliments his serve,” said coach David Hughes. “Nik is also a fierce competitor and is able to play his best tennis when matches are tight.”
Narina’s memorable victory in the Round of 32 win over Arlington perfectly punctuated his amazing Andover career.
Narina, a repeat Eagle-Tribune All-Star, will attend UMass in the fall, where he is entertaining the idea of playing club tennis there.
