A 24-year-old woman is headed to trial on charges that she provided heroin and methamphetamine to another person in a December incident in West Mead Township.
Rebecca Marie Smith, whose address is listed in court documents as the Crawford County jail, waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Samuel Pendolino.
Smith faces two felony and four misdemeanor drug charges stemming from an incident on Dec. 3.
According to the criminal complaint filed by Meadville police, Smith allegedly delivered a paper fold containing heroin and a small plastic bag containing methamphetamine to another person.
Smith faces two felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, two misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered to do so and two misdemeanor counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
A trial in the case will be scheduled for the January term of Crawford County Court of Common Pleas. Smith remains in Crawford County jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
