DUNCAN, Okla. – A small-town newspaper publisher, his wife and his daughter were found dead in their home Monday, according to Duncan Police Chief Danny Ford.
The bodies of John Hruby, his wife Tinker, and their daughter Kathleen were found at 1203 Bent Tree Street in Duncan.
Ford told News9 TV station in Oklahoma City that no one is in custody, and police are not looking for anyone in connection with the deaths. No other details were released. A press conference is scheduled later today.
Hruby was the publisher of the weekly Marlow Review, just north of Duncan.
The paper posted a short statement on its website Monday asking for prayers and vowing to keep moving forward with coverage of the community.
Marlow is located south of Oklahoma City with a population of approximately 4,600.
Hruby is also a former publisher of The Duncan Banner. His father was a longtime publisher of the Banner.
