The Palestine Herald Press seeks an editor to deliver top-notch local coverage in print, online and on social media platforms.

Our editor must be passionate about local news and demonstrate strong reporting, writing and editing skills. We need an editor with a take-charge attitude who will lead our small, yet ambitious newsroom in covering the news in innovative and exciting ways. We expect someone with a clear vision to lead us into the digital age.

Candidates must have excellent leadership skills and the willingness to become part of an active community. Experience with pagination, web production and social media is preferred.

The Herald Press is a 5,000-circulation, five-day newspaper in eastern Texas. In addition to the newspaper, we publish a weekly TMC, a community magazine, niche publications and a portfolio of digital products, including, www.palestineherald.com.
