GOSHEN, Ind. — Tricia Johnston, an accomplished newspaper and marketing executive, has been appointed publisher of The Goshen News, effective immediately.
Johnston is a former group president and publisher for GateHouse Media in Michigan, based at the Holland Sentinel. She has also served as advertising and marketing manager for daily newspapers in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and Willoughby, Ohio.
Prior to her newspaper career, Johnston served for several years as marketing and communications director of the United Way of Lake County in Mentor, Ohio.

Johnston holds a master’s degree in business administration from John Carroll University, and a bachelor’s degree in English from St. Bonaventure University. She has served as a marketing consultant for Pakem Media of Cleveland for the last three years.
