The NewsPress, in Stillwater, Okla., seeks a dynamic circulation manager to help serve the readers in this progressive and thriving university city of 50,000 people.

The NewsPress is a six-day newspaper with a circulation of 7,200. In addition, we publish a 17,500-distribution weekly TMC, community magazines, digital products and numerous specialty publications.

Our circulation manager will oversee all aspects of marketing and distribution, including home delivery, single copy, e-edition, NIE, sales and retention for our daily newspaper and niche products. This person will lead our multi-platform audience development through customer service and continuous promotional activities.

Exceptional leadership, marketing and communication skills are vital for this role. Candidates should have at least five years of circulation experience and an understanding of contractor relationships. The circulation manager must be familiar with the latest AAM (formally ABC) guidelines and have a working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Vision Data is a plus.

This position requires use of a personal vehicle, so an acceptable driving record and current driver’s license is required. Also necessary are pre-employment criminal background and credit checks.

Stillwater is home to Oklahoma State University, a Big 12 school, and a broad range of technology and manufacturing businesses. This is a newsy city that boasts great local schools, many outdoor recreation opportunities and an excellent quality of life. Stillwater is a regional retail hub 60 miles northeast of Oklahoma City.
