CUMBERLAND — An alleged assault Saturday near Riverside Park resulted in the arrest of a Cumberland woman, Cumberland Police said.
Keiana Langan, 30, was charged with first- and second-degree assault and disorderly conduct after police she allegedly hit a woman and attempted to strangle her. A bystander was able to intervene and free the victim.
Langan was taken into custody a short distance from the incident and was also served a circuit court warrant for child support.
She was being held Sunday without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review hearing on Monday.
