Tanya Shalor has been named publisher of The Daily Star in Oneonta, NY, effective immediately. She had served as interim publisher since March, and prior to that had served as comptroller for the newspaper.
Tanya graduated from Elmira College in 1997 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She moved to Brooklyn for a short time to work in New York City before moving to Worcester in 1999 and starting at The Daily Star in 2000.
Tanya and her husband, Kevin, have been married for six years and have a 9-month-old daughter, Hailey.
