— Gary D. Grossman has been appointed publisher of two CNHI newspapers in Pennsylvania, The Daily Item (Sunbury) and The Danville News.

A 35-year veteran in the newspaper industry, Gary has been publisher of The Daily Times in Salisbury, Md., and the weekly Somerset Herald of Princess Anne, Md. In addition, he has served as editor of the Times Herald-Record, Middletown, N.Y.; The Daily Times, Salisbury, Md.; The Daily Star, Oneonta, N.Y.; and the Gloucester County Times, Woodbury, N.J. He brings relationships, excellent newspaper experience, and a strategic look to one of our most important markets.
