The Managing Editor would work directly with the publisher and editor to elevate the coverage of local issues through planning, direction and mentoring. Responsibilities would include working with reporters and desk personnel to elevate coverage in the core product, as well as all other outlets. We’re seeking an energetic, competitive leader to help our newsroom perform at the highest level each and every day. If you have an unflinching desire to produce quality journalism, would love to work in a dynamic and always active news community, and have a passion that newspapers can not only survive, but thrive in the years to come, submit your resume and salary requirements to David R. Stringer, publisher; The Norman Transcript; P.O. Drawer 1058; Norman, OK; 73070; or e-mail to publisher@normantranscript.com.
