Published October 28, 2009 11:39 am - Rally to protest cuts to senior nutrition programs OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Organizers of a planned rally at the state Capitol say they expect about 125 people to show up to protest cuts to nutrition programs for seniors. The rally is to be next Wednesday starting at 11 a.m. on the second floor of the Capitol. The cuts in the nutrition program by the state Department of Human Services come as state agencies have had to cut their budgets by 5 percent because of lower revenue. ___ Information from: Tulsa World, http://www.tulsaworld.com
