Borgan-Seibold
Susan Taylor Seibold and Aaron John Borgan, both of Fort Forth, Texas, were united in marriage Saturday, the twenty-seventh of June 2009 at seven o’clock in the evening at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Fort Worth. The Rev. Dr. R. William Dickson officiated.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Candace Bawcombe, organist, and Saint Andrews choir. Scripture readings were given by Kay Benson of Austin, Texas, and William Majors of Oklahoma City.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at the Petroleum Club of Fort Worth where guests danced to the music of The Special Edition Band.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. George W. Seibold III of Oklahoma City. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George H. McGinn of Aiken, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Seibold Jr. of Muskogee.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Gillett of Midland, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Marc L. Borgan of Traverse City, Michigan. He is the grandson of the late Almon L. Pond and Ruth Pond of Midland, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Borgan of Georgetown, Texas.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Ashley Vedros of Manhattan Beach, Calif., maid of honor; Julia Fincher of Marietta, Ga., matron of honor; Amy Scott of Midland, Texas, sister of the groom; and Carol Elliott of Fort Worth.
The groom’s best men were his brothers, Andrew and Alexander Borgan, both of Dallas. Groomsmen were Charlie Scott of Midland, Texas, groom’s brother-in-law; and George Seibold IV of Muskogee, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Jamie Berry of Phoenix, Ariz., Chris Greer of Boulder, Colo., Jake Burden of Chicago, Ill., and Mike Tate of San Diego, Calif.
Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. F. Karl Shealy of Columbia, S.C., Mrs. Bill Monckton and Sydney Monckton of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. William Majors of Oklahoma City.
The bride is a graduate of The University of Tulsa and The University of Oklahoma. She is a landman with EOG Resources. The groom is a graduate of Michigan Technological University. He received his MBA from Tulane University. He is an engineer with Hillwood International Energy.
The couple spent their honeymoon in San Pedro, Belize.
