Circulation Director

The Commercial-News in Danville, IL, is looking for a top-gun Circulator Director to join our team. Our seven-day newspaper (circulation, approximately 12,000) serves beautiful Vermilion County, IL, and parts of three counties in nearby Indiana. We’re right on I-74, a short jaunt from Champaign-Urbana (home of the Fighting Illini) and within 100 miles of Indianapolis.

We’re looking for a competitive dynamo, someone who’s not afraid of hard work. This is a competitive market, and our new CD will help us widen our competitive edge. We have lots of room to grow, and lots of room for improvement. We need a real “hands-on” leader, someone schooled in the nuts and bolts of circulation, someone who’s just as comfortable dealing with field distribution issues as they are with developing marketing campaigns.
