Situated deep in the heart of beautiful East Texas, the Palestine Herald Press, (a five-day a week newspaper, 5,500 daily and 6,100 Sunday) is seeking an experienced, innovative, high-energy professional to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as marketing knowledge and a sense of creativity to help develop new revenue opportunities within the market.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: meet and exceed set monthly revenue goals, budgeting, motivate, supervise and train the sales staff, coordinate sales efforts between Palestine and four additional papers within the East Texas Newspaper group, all the while controlling expenses and delivering a superior publication.

Palestine has the advantage of small community life yet lies within less than an hour’s drive of Tyler and less than two hours drive of Dallas.
