Position: Advertising Director

The Jacksonville Progress, a small daily newspaper located in Jacksonville Texas, is seeking an experienced, innovative, high-energy professional to lead our sales team. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: meet and exceed set monthly revenue goals, budgeting, motivate, supervise and train the sales staff, coordinate sales efforts between Jacksonville and four additional papers within the East Texas Newspaper group, all while controlling expenses and delivering a superior publication.

Jacksonville is a small community of 15,000 located in East Texas, approximately 2 hours southeast of Dallas. This area offers a high quality of life with an abundance of recreational opportunities. We have a first rate health care system, and strong local educational opportunities.
